Former lead singer of top-selling Brit Pop band The Bluetones, Mark Morriss, makes a welcome return to Town Hall Live this week.
He last played Kirton in January last year, when the show was a sell out.
The Bluetones was one of the UK’s biggest selling bands in the 1990s/2000s, recording 14 top ten singles and three top ten albums.
They disbanded in 2011, but in 2013 Mark released his latest solo album, ‘A Flash of Darkness’.
After performing numerous solo concerts, Mark decided the album deserved the backing of a band and in spring this year recruited old band mates Adam Devlin (guitar), Ed Chester (drums) and Andy Nunn (keyboards).
And they will be playing at Kirton in Lindsey this Saturday, October 11, for what will be Town Hall Live’s biggest concert to date and organisers anticipate another sell-out.
Support will be from THL favourites The Crash Blossoms.
Advance tickets are £15 from One Stop store in the town, Brian on 01652 649230 or www.wegottickets.com
