A discerning audience was captivated with the excellent guitar playing of local man Mat James as Caistor Arts and Heritage Centre hosted its first classical music concert.
And the acoustics of the venue proved to be ideal as it enhanced the sound of the music.
Mat treated everyone to a varied programme ranging from Scarlatti to Leo Brouwer’s Cuban Landscape with Bell, written in 1984, which testing Mat’s virtuosity.
It is hoped the talent of Mat James will return to the centre in the New Year.
