Brass band lovers are eagerly anticipating East Yorkshire Motor Services Brass Band’s return visit to Grimsby Central Hall next month.
Their last concert in 2012 proved a memorable and barnstorming affair, with everyone on their feet demanding more by the end of the night.
Under the direction of Alan Morrison “EYMS” has become one of the top brass bands in the world and probably one of the most successful during its near 25-year history.
An impressive roll call of competition successes and a string of prestigious performances have helped cement their enviable reputation for entertaining programmes with high-class playing.
Over the years, they have appeared at London’s Royal Albert Hall, recorded with the chart-topping Beautiful South and achieved global TV exposure following an invitation to perform during the Rugby League Four Nations.
EYMS will be at the Central Hall on Saturday, April 12.
The concert starts at 7.30pm, with tickets available from the box office on 01472 355025 priced £12 and £9.
