CANADIAN four-piece Po’Girl are the next band to play live at Kirton Town Hall.
Folk/Americana Po’Girl are at the beginning of their 32-date tour of the UK and over the last eight years have garnered critical acclaim from the media and audiences in Canada, America, Europe and the UK with their powerful, passionate and spirited live shows.
The Po’Girl sound is described as warm, real and intimate, with the interplay between band members truly something to behold.
The girls’ – Alison Russell and Awna Texeira – distinct voices dovetail in stunning harmony with multi instruments providing colour and shade to their songs.
Tickets for the Po’Girl concert this Sunday, August 7, cost £12.50 in advance or on the door.
