BABAJACK are the latest act to take to the stage at the regular blues sessions at The Hope Tavern in Holton le Moor.

This outstanding acoustic blues/folk fusion band from Malvern have a fast-growing reputation on the UK and European festival circuit born out of the energy and presence emanating from them in concert.

Becky Tate – African drum, cahon, stomp and vocals – is a nominee in this year’s British Blues Awards and, along with Trevor Steger, forms the songwriting nucleus of the band. They are joined by Marc Miletitch on double bass.

They have two albums to date and are shortly to be going into the studio to record their third.

Babajack will be performing their own mix of blues, roots and folk with fantastic rhythm passion and power to provide an exciting and absorbing evening at the Tavern this Sunday, May 27.

Concert starts at 4pm and the door charge is £7.
