Widely regarded as the best of J B Priestley’s so-called ‘Time Plays’ will be opening the autumn season at The Broadbent Theatre.
The Wickenby venue last produced Time and the Conways back in November 1979.
One of the theatre’s founding members, Don Sutherland, was so impressed by the talent of the younger adult members in last year’s pantomime he suggested it was time to do it again.
“He felt the subject matter is as relevant today, as it was when written in 1934,” said chairman Ian Rushby.
“But our archives are not as complete as we originally thought.
“I’m looking for programmes, posters, photos or any memories of the last time the play was performed here.”
