Every December, three fine folk performers go around the country with their magical Christmas Tree - and next week they’re at Faldingworth.
Pete Morton, Maggie Boyle and Chris Parkinson will be stopping off at Faldingworth Village Hall on Saturday, December 1, as part of the Faldingworth Live series of live gigs.
The tree is full of songs, tunes and dances from everywhere and this is your chance to write the set list.
A fun and spontaneous night for everyone - especially Pete, Maggie and Chris - who quite literally don’t know what they are going to do next…but they always do it well.
Pete is a singer songwriter and guitar player - an entertainer with a wealth of great songs and stage presence.
His performance can be dynamic and intense ,as well as approachable and fun loving.
Maggie is a traditional singer and flute player.
Through her ballads and tunes, old and new, she continues the tradition of music and storytelling passed on by her Irish family.
Chris has played music since the age of five, starting with the harmonica before moving onto everything else.
However, he is known for his melodeon and piano accordion playing, and is one of the most sought after accordion players in the country.
Doors open on December at 7.15pm, with music from 8pm.
Tickets cost £10 and can be booked now for payment on the door through Les Worrall on 01673 843036 or 07771 745470.
