This Sunday’s Blues Session at the Hope Tavern in Holton le Moor will feature one of the UK’s top young blues guitarists in the Laurence Jones Band.
Influenced by Eric Clapton, Gary Moore, Rory Gallagher, Jimi Hendrix, Tony Mcphee, B.B King and Albert Collins, Laurence Jones is just 21 years old and is already making a big name for himself and has already been likened to a young Robin Trower on BBC Radio 2.
The Laurence Jones Band has played along side some big names with Walter trout inviting the band to support them on his 2013 UK tour.
Classic Rock magazine quoted Laurence as “Blues Rocks youngest Talent” and was featured on the “Blues Fury CD along with Joe Bonamassa, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Popa Chubby and many more.
There is a big buzz about this young man and has been described as “the head boy of the new blues breed”.
