Prepare to be scared as Ian Hogg reprises his role as The Man in Black.

Based on the radio show of the 1940s and 50s ‘Appointment with Fear’ the evening will feature four short horror/mystery stories

And included in the selection will be works by M R James and L A G Strong, all read by actor Ian to provide this spine chilling evening of spooky stories and terrifying tales.

The ‘Man in Black’ event has become an annual fundraiser supporting a range of charities and is at Nettleton Village Hall this Saturday, February 7, at 7.30pm.

And if you feel you need a little bit of Dutch courage to face the Man in Black, the bar will be open

Tickets cost £8 prepaid, £9 on the door, from The Painted Tree in Church Street Nettleton or call 01673 828478.

This year the evening will be supporting Alzheimer’s Research UK.
