A craft exhibition next month will show just what can be done with half a yard of fabric.
Rasen Hub Crafters were challenged to make something out of half a yard of fabric and the results show what an imaginative group they are.
They have produced a range of craft items using embellishment as decoration and all items will be on display at the group’s annual exhibition in the Salvation Army, which starts this Saturday, March 2.
All the items are for sale, with proceeds being shared between club funds and the Salvation Army, and can be collected at end of the exhibition, from 2pm, on Friday, March 8.
Admission is free and full opening times are: Saturday, 9am to 2pm; Monday, March 4, and Tuesday March 5, 10am to 3pm; Wednesday, March 6, 10am to 12 noon; Friday, March 8, 10am to 3pm.
The Hub crafters began two years ago and continues to meet on Wednesday afternoons from 2pm to 4pm.
Each week has a different theme and recent meetings have covered salt dough, macrame, crochet, stick weaving and felting, to name but a few.
March meetings include silk painting, rag knitting and marbling.
The cost is £2.50 a session.

Sharing the Salvation Army venue on March 2 will be a mini craft fair, with stalls and craft demonstrations.
The café will also be open.
