ENGLAND is renowned for its wealth of beautiful gardens – so what better way to start the Queen’s Jubilee celebrations than with a two-day gardening event.
The Market Rasen Gardeners’ Market and Jubilee Fayre will take place on Saturday, June 2, and Sunday, June 3.
More than 20 traditional garden stalls will be selling a range of products in the market place from 9am to 4pm on both days.
Bedding plants, alpines, perennials, shrubs and hanging baskets will all be on sale to help brighten up even the smallest garden.
And in the Festival Hall, there will be a range of charity and food stalls – with both cold and hot food on offer.
This will be the 10th anniversary of the gardeners’ market in the town and for the first time, the main organisers of the event are members of Market Rasen and District Lions Club .
The event is being supported financially by both the town council and West Lindsey District Council.
The gardening theme continues on August 4, when the town’s Rotary Club organises the open gardens, summer market and arts & crafts show.
