BIRMINGHAM-based folk singer Jo Hamilton is the latest artist to play at Kirton in Lindsey Town Hall.
Jo Hamilton, who plays folk/Americana/alternative music, will be supported by Lincoln band Narina Project, when she plays her gig on Friday, September 9.
The singer/songwriter – who became the world’s first artist to work with an Airpiano – comes from a family with roots in both Kenya and Jamaica, but Jo was brought up in a house two miles from its nearest neighbour in northern Scotland.
Her parents moved constantly in her youth, which saw her spending periods in Turkey, UAE, Kuwait, Sri Lanka and Cambodia.
Her debut award-winning album Gown is out now.
