Town Hall Live, Kirton has a packed programme of live music for 2014 and kicking it off on Saturday, February 8 is Isle of Axholme duo Rita Payne.

2013 was a great year for Rita Payne - Rhiannon Scutt and Pete Sowerby - with the release of their debut album, ‘Stories from a Suitcase’, receiving good reviews in the national music press.

They also played the prestigious Wath Festival, wrote the official anthem of the new Doncaster performing arts venue, Cast, and have been the main support act for The Greystones venue in Sheffield.

Bookings for 2014 abound and they will also be releasing their new album.

For part of the Town Hall Live concert, they will perform as a five piece band - the first time they have added instrumentation to their performances - and the evening will start with a 60-minute set from singer Danni Nicholls.

Advance tickets £10 from the OneStop store in the town, wegottickets.com or Brian on 01652 649230.

Tickets on the door £12.
