A family fun day to raise money for LIVES charity is being held at Willows Garden Centre in Glentham on Sunday, August 25.

There will be live music, a Tom Woods beer tent, hog roast, barbecue, steel band, a bouncy castle, Peppa Pig and fairground rides.

LIVES first responders will be on hand giving demonstrations on CPR.

They will explain to visitors how first responders save lives in the community and what it is like to be a first responder.

They will also answer any questions about how to join LIVES.

LIVES, which stands for Lincolnshire Integrated Voluntary Emergency Service, says it is constantly having to recruit new responders to save lives in the county.

The charity is encouraging residents to go along to the fun day to see if they could be a first responder.

A LIVES spokesman said: “Someone in your community may one day be extremely grateful you decided to join.”
