Cutting loose at Riverhead

CUT loose and head over to Louth’s Riverhead Theatre to see the results of this year’s summer workshop.

Popular teen musical Footloose is this year’s choice, with its lively dancing and music, including classic numbers Almost Paradise, Let’s Hear It For The Boy and, of course, the title track Footloose.

The production is in the very capable hands of John Hewer and Penney Caffrey, with musical director Sam Cable from London making his debut at the Riverhead Theatre.

The workshop team of talented teenagers began working on the production on Sunday and will culminate in three public performances – nightly from August 2–August 4.

Curtain up at 7.30pm each night and tickets cost £7.35 (under 18s £4.60). Call the box office on 01507 600350, open Monday to Saturday, 10am-1pm.
