Old-time roots music, with an astounding energy level, is served up at this Sunday by Gordie MacKeeman & His Rhythm Boys.

If anybody deserves the nickname ‘Crazy Legs’, it is Gordie MacKeeman, with his thrilling dance style mixed with great vocals and fiddle playing.

Add to this Peter Cann’s blistering guitar solos and the lively multi-instrumental talents of Thomas Webb and Mark Geddes, it all makes the band an unforgettable live experience.

Hailing from Canada’s Prince Edward Island, this award-winning band will be heading the bill at Faldingworth Memorial Hall as part of the Faldingworth Live concerts.

Support will be from Steve Jackson and Easy Bob Read playing a mixture of Americana favourites and blues.

For tickets, priced £10, call Andy Watkins on 01522 535770 or email marianne.watkins@virgin.net

Doors open at 7.15pm for an 8pm start.
