This year’s festival will see poems, pictures and some accounts of the First World War period in Caistor’s Parish Church.
There will also be poetry from modern poets remembering with respect some aspects of the conflict and a competition of poetry based accurate research of WWI by children in our three local schools will be judged and prizes presented in church during the weekend. Artifacts of the period will be on view too.
The church will be open on Saturday, May 10, from 10am to 4pm and Sunday, May 11, from 11.30am to 4pm.
Refreshments will be available throughout, with salad lunches and desserts on the Saturday served from 11.30am to 1pm.
