THE town is expected to be packed this Saturday for the annual Caistor Goes..... event.
The 14th annual family fun street party kicks off at 3pm in the Market Place and brings music, dance, comedy, games and competitions. And best of all it is free.
Caistor Goes MAD - Music and Dance has a host of talent to suit every Taste. From school choirs and bands, to Morris Men, to jive dancers, street entertainers, its and circus acts.
There is even Britain’s Got Talent dog dancing finalists.
And The King is in the house too, well the Market Place to be technically accurate.
Rainbow Preschool and Whitegate Kindergarten will be presenting the Lion with his party hat and then the entertainment will begin.
The children’s fancy dress competition, on the theme of cartoon characters, will take place at about 5.30pm, quiz sheets for the anagram competition will be available by the lion and there will be a range of charity stalls to support.
Volunteers are needed to help set up, from 1pm to 3pm, and take down, from 9pm to about 10pm. Contact Alan on 01472 851674 with offers of help
Road closures will apply to the Market Place from 1pm to 11pm and vehicle wowners are asked to remove their cars from the Market Place before 10am on Saturday.
All buses will be diverted via Southdale from 12 noon.
