This Sunday’s Blues session at Holton le Moor’s Hope Tavern features another young British R&B act mature beyond his years.

Greg Coulson has packed a wealth of experience into the last 10 years at the top level of British blues.

Over the year’s his influences have changed but he has always had an absolute passion for Rhythm and Blues.

He started fronting blues bands at the age of 12, both singing and playing, and was gigging regularly in pubs and clubs around Northants.

Touring with the legendary two-tone band The Selecter since he was 19,Greg became known as a Hammond player, and not just a keyboard player.

Whilst the R&B scene at the moment is mainly guitar led, Greg changes all that.

He has been with the current line up for the past three years, having toured extensively throughout the UK, Europe and more recently Australia and America.

Now the Greg Coulson band comes to The Hope on Sunday, August 4.

The show starts at 4pm and the door charge is £8.
