Jenny Hammerton is the latest artist to mount an exhibition at Caistor Arts and Heritage Centre.

Inspiration comes to Jenny from anything -a place, memory, doodle etc.

“I consider myself to be a painter/mixed media artist,” said Jenny, “because as ideas evolve texture becomes increasingly relevant and I use a variety of materials including water-based paint and varnish, pen, pastel, fabric, paper and twine or anything that is appropriate.

“I prefer not to title my work which leaves it open to the imagination.”

Admission to the collage exhibition is free and it is on display until March 31.
