How long does it take to sort books into alphabetical order?

Young library users have a pretty good idea as it was one of the fun activities in Market Rasen Library at their Record
Breakers Fun Day last Wednesday.

Timed challenges of paper-chain making, word searches and fairy steps meant all ages could take part in the free activity day, linked to this year’s Summer Reading Challenge.

The library itself set a new record by having more children than ever sign up to the challenge.

Those who complete the reading challenge will be going along to the library on September 12 to collect their certificates.

The library is also continuing its partnership with children’s links and Market Rasen Children’s Centre to provide more free craft sessions for little ones and parents over the coming months.

The next is on Friday September 18, from 10.30am to 11.45am.
