A month-long exhibition in Market Rasen Library is displaying the work of patients at St Barnabas Hospice Day Therapy Centres.

For many, the art group has been their first experience of painting and, as can be seen, many people find a hidden talent they never knew they had.

The subjects of the individual pieces are varied - from cheerful cockerels to luscious landscapes.

The paintings will be on display until the middle of May, when the exhibition will transfer to Welton Library .

Meanwhile, Market Rasen Library is continuing to support the Hospice by hosting a series of strawberry cream tea events.

The first is this Tuesday, May 7, from 2pm to 4pm.

As well as refreshments, there will be a fundraising stall for the Hospice.

And the timing of the events is perfect to drop in on your way to or back from school.
