ATMOSPHERIC Landscapes is the title of the latest art exhibition in Caistor.
Work by artist Keith Roper will be on display at the town’s Arts and Heritage Centre until July 29.
The paintings - inspired by Keith walking in the Wolds, the Fens and along the coasts and estuaries - are mainly in pastel, but he also uses oil, gouache and watercolour.
“The main objective is to create a feeling of atmosphere in painting through colour and particularly the application of the painting medium onto the painting surface,” said Keith.
“The sky and weather are of importance in creating mood and sensitivity.”
