Going green at West Rasen

Enjoy a traditional country event as West Rasen holds its Green Man Day on Bank Holiday Monday, May 4.

Now in its 16th year, the event will be held at the village’s hall and heritage centre from 1pm to 4pm.

The hall was once a Catholic school with the Pack-Horse Bridge opposite, and the church, although a small village, it has lots of history behind it.

And on Monday, there will be a lot going on to keep all the family entertained - stalls, display of Old Postcards of the local area, and games, including skittles, Aunt Sally and welly wanging, plus a bouncy castle.

Entry is £1 for adults, children free.
