An evening of music will help get the festive season well and truly underway, as the annual Rotary Community Carol
Concert takes place.

The venue is Market Rasen Methodist Church and the date is this Monday,
December 15.

There will be the chance to join in with some well-known carols, with the singing led by Market Rasen Choral Society - who hold their own Christmas concert at the same venue the day before.

Choirs from Market Rasen, Middle Rasen, Nettleton and Faldingworth Primary Schools will also be performing a range of seasonal songs, together with musicians from De Aston School.

And once again, Father Christmas will be making an early visit, with a present for each boy and girl at the concert on the night.

The evening will also be a chance to recognise one of the area’s unsung heroes.

It has been customary to announce the winner of the Rotary Community Service Award on the night too.

Last year the award went to hard-working councillor and community-minded Caistor resident Alan Caine - but who will it be this year?

Find out on the night - the free concert starts at 7pm.
