Rasen-based folk group Da Capo led the Lincolnshire Day celebrations at the town’s library.
The singers performed traditional songs and there was plenty of locally-produced food items for everyone to taste.
Class Eagles from Market Rasen Primary School went along to join in the fun, which included singing of the Lincolnshire Poacher and the Lincolnshire Shepherd, where the children showed their expertise at sheep counting - yan, tan, tethera, pethera, pimp.
“It has been a fantastic afternoon and the children really enjoyed joining in,” said the Library’s team leader Wendy Napier. “Thank you to everyone who supported the day.”
