Actors to inspire next generation

LINDSEY Rural Players youth theatre is again running a summer school for budding thespians.

Based at the Broadbent Theatre in Wickenby and starting on August 20, the children will devise, rehearse and perform to an audience the following weekend.

Clare Richardson and Tom Murray, who will be leading the sessions, became inspired to start their acting careers as a result of taking part in a similar initiative – more years ago than they care to remember.

“We’ve both gone on to study all aspects of performance art, so to share our knowledge and experience with the next generation in the same unique venue somehow completes the circle,” said Clare.

Current members of the youth theatre, for which there is a waiting list, take priority, but there will be some places left on a first come first served basis.

In any case applications and payment, total cost of £20, must be received by July 13.

Parents are invited to contact Clare direct on 07967 820175 for an application form.
