North Lincolnshire Council is hosting a variety of events to celebrate ‘Love Your Local Market’ fortnight, which runs from May 14 to 28.
To help mark the longstanding market culture in Brigg, shoppers at Brigg market tomorrow, Thursday, will be entertained with the musical styling of Lys-St-George as they play a dazzling array of instruments throughout the day.
This traditional market always has a good selection of quality fruit and vegetables, local eggs and home baked cakes.
Brigg Farmers’ Market follows on Saturday, May 24, where you can wander round a range of stalls with fresh local produce on offer from friendly traders.
And for anyone who has ever thought of being a stallholder, it is never too late to get started.
The council would like to hear from interested in taking a stall or would like more information; email firstname.lastname@example.org or call the markets office on 01724 297816.
