A charity family fun day at the Willows Garden Centre attracted around 1,000 visitors through the doors of Willows Garden Centre on Bank Holiday Monday.
Garden centre owner David Nelstrop said that with the poor weather forecast, stalls were moved inside, so they were unaffected by the rain.
The fun day included live music, hog roast, barbecue, bouncy castle, face painting, classic cars and more.
But one of the highlights of the day, which helped raise funds for the Lindsey Lodge Hospice, was a flyplast in the morning by a Spitfire.
“The day was a great success,” Mr Nelstrop added.
