Lunch, craft, coffee and more all go to help the hospice

Community Fundraiser for St Barnabas Hospice Caroline Swindin made a good start to the year with a coffee morning in Market Rasen Library.

“Thank you to everyone who supported the coffee morning, which raised almost £100 for St Barnabas Lincolnshire Hospice, and to those who donated raffle and tombola prizes,” she said.

The next coffee morning in the library is on Saturday, April 26.

10am – 12 noon. Free Entry – Everyone Welcome.

St Barnabas Lincolnshire Hospice will be back in Market Rasen next Tuesday, February 4, at the Salvation Army Centre in John Street.

Go along between 10am and 1pm to find out more about the work and services of the Hospice, have a go on the games and also enjoy the refreshments available from the Salvation Army Coffee Shop.

“If anyone has any unwanted gifts from Christmas, however small, that they would be willing to donate for St Barnabas tombolas and raffles please drop them in, these would be very much appreciated,” added Caroline.

Also next week is a coffee and crafts event in Faldingworth Primary School, from 10.30am to 2.30pm on Friday, February 7.

As well as craft and gift stalls, the children will be entertaining and Barnabas Bear will making a special guest appearance.

And on Tuesday, February 11, there will be a ladies’ lunch at Market Rasen Golf Club.

Guest speaker is Paul Maxey of Scothern Nurseries Plant Centre.
