They want to be Knights of the Round Table, but costs associated with the activities planned for this years annual camp have turned out to be higher than normal.

Under the Medieval theme, members of the 1st Keelby Cubs are looking forward to making Ocarinas, a vessel flute wind instrument, and food tiles, both from clay and medieval traditions, all in full period costume.

Now they can continue to make their plans after Caistor and District Lions Club stepped in with a donated of £250.

Lions Pam Sizer, Bob Oxley and Gordon Rogers went along to make the presentation to the cubs and beavers and their leaders. (Lin)
