Celebrating International Women’s Day were ladies of the Humberside International Women’s Club who meet in Nettleton Village Hall.

More than £1,000 is expected to have been raised at a fashion show staged at a packed Elsham Golf Club.

On the catwalk were volunteer models from Ladies Fashion Boutique ‘Isn’t She Lovely,’ the business owned by Marie Spence with shops in both Market Rasen and Brigg.

Marie said: “The models are all friends who have never modelled before and I am grateful to them for giving up their time to support this event.

“It’s also the first fashion show that has been done by my business, so that is exciting as well.”

Proceeds from the evening will go to the Caring Stars Clinic at the rural village of Kerenni in Burma, with the aim of improving medical care for local people.
