The National Trust property will be visited by dozens of reenactors from this elegant era who will mix with visitors, hold dance demonstrations, have a period church service and pose for photo opportunities.

There will be historic harpsichord music in the dining room, dance demonstrations on the front lawn, promenading to the church and a period picnic in the gardens, as well as admission to three floors of the impressive house and eight acre gardens full of blossom and spring flowers.

Regency Day is free for National Trust members.

Well behaved dogs, on leads, are welcome in the gardens and grounds and the tea room will also be open.

The day starts at 11am, with the last admission to the house at 4pm.
