The second weekend of the Churches Festivals takes place this Saturday and Sunday, May 17 and 18.
Once again, churches from across the area, this time in the western half of the district, open their doors to visitors.
Many continue the World War I them, with displays at Owmby by Spital, Grayingham and Blyton to name a few.
And many have other themed exhibitions, including a flower display with a difference at Hemswell centred around a maypole and guerilla knitting at Fiskerton.

Correction: In last week’s preview of the Churches Festival, it was stated six Beechey men went to fight.
There were in fact eight, with three returning home.
