School’s out for the summer and there is plenty going on in Caistor and Brigg’s active heritage centres for all ages to enjoy.

Brigg Heritage Centre houses a display showing how this historic market town developed from an early crossing point on the River Ancholme into the town it is today.

And on Saturdays throughout August, they are hosting a series of craft days for children, from 10am to 2pm.

Entry to the centre is free, with donations requested for taking part in the crafts, which this Saturday has a
pirate theme.

Among the many activities at Caistor Arts and Heritage Centre is a four-week Sketching for Kids course, which starts on Tuesday, August 5.

Aimed at seven to 10-year-olds, the cost is £6 and parents must stay in the centre.

Details: 01472 851605.
