Beer festival plans for Caistor Lions

To be staged in the town’s South Street Park, this two-day event will have more than 20 local and national real ales on tap, as well as a selection of lagers, ciders, wines and soft drinks, all to the accompaniment of live music in the marquee throughout from 10 bands.

The fun will start at 5pm on Friday June 17, going on until 11pm.

On Saturday June 18, the Festival will be open from 12 noon until 11pm.

Hot and cold food will be available throughout and other entertainments will include face painting, a photo booth and a tug of war contest on the Saturday afternoon.

Admission will cost £3 and this will include a commemorative souvenir glass.

All profits from the beer festival will ultimately go to local good causes through the Lions’ charity fund.
