BBC set to record Caistor concert

The Lincolnshire International Chamber Music Festival comes to Caistor Methodist Church this Friday, August 19.

The concert by top musicians will be recorded by the BBC for broadcast on Radio 3.

The evening will be dedicated to the music Stanley Kubrick used in such films such as A Clockwork Orange, Eyes Wide Shut, Barry Lyndon and 2001: A Space Odyssey.

The programme will include Rossini’s William Tell Overture, Strauss’s The Blue Danube Op.314 and Schubert’s Piano Trio in E flat major D929.
