With guided walks, activities and demonstrations, there will be lots to do for all the family.

“There will be a sand pit for little ones to find their own archaeological treasures and historical cooking demonstrations,” said Gunby Visitor Experience Manager Astrid Gatenby.

“With absolutely no admission charges or additional costs for the walks or activities, there’s no better time to visit Gunby this month.

“Bring a picnic and make a day of it.

“Well behaved dogs on leads are welcome throughout the gardens, so bring along your four-footed friends too.”

Free guided walks:

11am: Parkland Archaeology Walk (duration 1 hour)

12.30pm: Walk to Site of Bratoft Moated Manor (duration 1.5 hour)

3pm: Parkland Archaeology Walk (duration 1 hour)
