Anyone for tennis (courses that is!)?
Two new courses are starting at Tealby Tennis Club this month.
People aged 13-16 years are invited to take part in a ten-week tennis leaders course on Mondays from 5pm-6.15pm, starting on January 30.
It is open to non-club members and tennis skills are not essential. The course covers team work, communication skills, organisation, building confidence and how to create a fun environment.
Club member Joy Purkiss said the course is ideal for students taking PE qualifications and those doing Duke of Edinburgh Awards. Places are limited and cost £30.
A four-week Mini Tots Tennis course will start on Monday, January 16 from 4.15pm-5pm. This will cost £10 per person in advance for all sessions or £3 per player on the day.
