County call up for young players

Two members of Market Rasen & Louth RUFC U14 squad have been selected to play for the county.

Elliot Foster and Sam Pace travelled to Sleaford, where they were among 50 players, nominated by clubs and schools across Lincolnshire, competing for a coveted place in the Lincolnshire U14 squad.

The boys will now attend weekly training sessions with the Lincolnshire coaches and other squad members at Sleaford RUFC, before competing with the Lincolnshire squad against Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire U14s in the NLD festival at the end of November.

Market Rasen & Louth U14s train on Tuesday evenings from 6.30pm to 8pm at the Willingham Road ground and new players are always welcome, both in this age group and across the whole age range at Junior and Mini (U6 – U18).
