Rasen races a match for Murray Mania

Thursday, 1pm: PIMM'S and strawberries and cream will be coming out at Market Rasen Racecourse if Andy Murray reaches the final at Wimbledon.

The men's final will be shown on racecourse televisions at Sunday's family racing day which is sponsored by Lincolnshire bookmakers Don Noble.

The racecourse's managing director Pip Kirkby said: "If Andy Murray comes through against Andy Roddick on Friday afternoon, then it sets up an historic sporting occasion for British tennis on Sunday, and we wouldn't want our visitors to miss out.

"There is already lots of entertainment being laid on for children, and we'll get out the Pimm's and the strawberries and cream if Andy Murray reaches the final."

Commentator Derek Thompson will also keep the crowd up to date with the score from Wimbledon.
