New dressage event for Market Rasen

A NEW dressage event is coming to Market Rasen.

The Market Rasen Dressage Series – to be held at the racecourse – is open to keen riders of all ages and abilities.

The competition includes classes from preliminary to elementary, with some great prizes and rosettes for the placed horses and riders.

The event – which will be the first of its kind to be held at the racecourse – is being organised by enthusiast Sian Williams.

She said: “There are many local equestrian centres and venues near Market Rasen but none actually in the town itself.

“I am keen to encourage any spectators to come and watch the event as it is free to spectators.”

For more information about entry fees, tradestands, timings and information call Sian on 07860 565249, email sianyowilliams@yahoo.co.uk or search Market Rasen Dressage Series on Facebook.

The first competition will be held on Saturday, September 22 and access will be off Willingham Road.
