Ladies can win £1,000

A MASSIVE £1,000 prize is on offer to ladies willing to step up to the oche.

The Ladies Classic event will be held at Rileys in Lincoln’s Crofton Road on September 15 and is open to all lady darts players.

Organised by Market Rasen woman Julie Lambie, the event offers a total prize fund of £2,240.

“We want to encourage ladies from local towns to attend,” said Julie.

“This is the very first ladies only darting event to take place in this country, so I am very proud to have achieved something on this scale.”

There are both ladies singles and pairs competitions, with advance entry £10 for each or £12 on the day.
