Jump to it to get equestrian lesson

YOUNGSTERS in Market Rasen are being given an incentive to take part in showjumping lessons.

British Showjumping and Horseworld Equestrian Centre in Osgodby has secured funding through Sportivate -– a national programme encouraging 14 to 25 year olds to take part in sport.

This means the centre will be holding six weeks of showjumping training for £90.

Lincolnshire Sports Partnership’s children and young people officer Lucy Blakey said: “Sportivate not only provides a great opportunity to encourage young people to get involved in sport; it provides a huge financial incentive for sports clubs, schools, leisure facilities and others, to deliver more sport across Lincolnshire.”

Sessions will take place every Thursday starting on Thursday, February 16 from 6pm to 8pm.
