Tom recorded a points finish in 12th place, while Tim crossed the line in 19th position.

Starting from the seventh and ninth row, their progress was short-lived as a multiple crash at Druids on the first lap brought the red flag out.

At the restart, Tom was soon up into 15th place when the course car led the riders around for four laps to enable the marshals to recover the bikes from yet another crash.

Once the car left the track, Tom was up into 13th place, but the pace was hectic and he was demoted to 14th when Dan Stamper went past.

He held on to 14th place until, with two laps remaining, the two leaders crashed out of the race with Tom benefiting from their misfortune to cross the finish line in 12th position and pick up four championship points.

Tim, meanwhile, was circulating further down the field and was running in 21st place when the race was stopped on the first lap.

And once the safety car left the track after the second crash he was up to 19th place which he held until Chris Taylor took the advantage on lap 12.

One lap later he was relegated to 22nd as both Ben Luxton and Jack Drury went past. Tom made it back up to 21st and then also benefited from the crash involving the two leading riders to finish a creditable 19th.

The British Superbike championship takes a break for the TT, but the Superstock 600 riders will be racing this weekend at Donington Park as a support class to the British round of the World Superbike championship.
