Willow Banks hosts British Showjumping weekend event

The highlight of the British Showjumping two-day show at Willow Banks was the second round of the KBIS Insurance Senior British Novice.

There were 54 entries in the class, and nine horses achieved treble clears to qualify them for the national final.

Double Dutch KCV, ridden by Derby’s Mark Thompson, won from runner-up Clarentino, owned by Kelly Hancey and ridden by Anna Strawson

Chelsea Skelton rode TJ Talent, owned by Jan Elvin, to third place.

The show attracted more than 300 entries with people travelling from across the UK including Wales and Norfolk, and prize money amounting to almost £2,000.
