They just go from strength to strength!

Brigg and District Netball Club have not only won Regional Club of the Year for both 2011 and 2012, which is unheard of in itself, but they have also recently been awarded 'National Club of the Year' at the prestigious National Awards night in Birmingham.

Brigg and District Netball Club have not only won Regional Club of the Year for both 2011 and 2012, which is unheard of in itself, but they have also recently been awarded “National Club of the Year” at the prestigious National Awards night in Birmingham.

This is for the entire UK, including Northern Ireland, Isle of Man and Channel Islands.

Vanessa McErlain-Naylor, founder and coach, pictured far right with team members on their recent netball tour in Paris, was there to receive the award.

“The club was founded just over 10 years ago and has gone from strength to strength with players and members from five years of age to adult,” She said. “We are based at The Vale Academy in Brigg and meet every Saturday to train from 2pm onwards and we are always looking for new players regardless of experience and of all ages, so all are welcome, just turn up.”
