Tealby Bowls Club host popular Charity Trophy

The Tealby Charity Trophy competition was fully booked with teams entered from Grimsby, Goxhill, and Scunthorpe and locally supported by Market Rasen and Osgodby.

The day started with a light shower at Tealby Bowls Club, but conditions improved and made for an enjoyable day of bowling.

The Trophy was won by Les Adlard and Peter Sergeant, of Goxhill Bowls Club, edging out runners-up Ian Shackleton and Trevor Smith, from Binbrook Bowls Club.

The day was sponsored by Hedley Audiss, of the Olde Barn, Tealby.

Tealby Bowls club will be holding their next competition on Sunday from 10am when a barbecue will be provided.
