Market Rasen Golf Club is so good, it brings in members from afar.
Among them is Scott Pridgeon from Gainsborough, who also works in Scunthorpe and Doncaster.
“It’s a great course and well worth the travel. I get to play at least once a week during the summer,” said the member of two years.
Scott was the top player at the 102-year-old Market Rasen Golf Club’s Captain’s Day.
The ‘A Team’ member finished ‘five under handicap.’
The annual event on Saturday attracted more than 100 men and 20 ladies, which also included a nine-hole stableford for the ladies.
After presenting the trophy and a variety of prizes, club captain Graham Dolan said the club was doing well in terms of members and the condition of the course.
“The club is absolutely fine. It’s never been in better condition.”
