Ladies from across the country play in Rasen

MARKET Rasen Ladies welcomed teams from around the country for its Autumn Am Am, the second successful open competition of the season.

In first place was a team from Wheatley Hall, Karen Buchan, S. Beckwith, K O’Neill and C Porter. Second was the Forest Pines Team June Marshall, Jenny Swain, Lyn Fish and Elaine Farmery. third Market Rasen and Canwick Team Mel Gregory, Lotta Brewer, Susan Smith and M Fryer. fourth Home Team Hefina Brumpton, Joan Woodcock, Pauline Neal and Jenny Brundle and fifth, Elsham Team Janet Godfrey, Sue Booth, Marie Tansey and Patsy Davies.

The proceeds of the raffle will go to the Lady Captain’s Charity, which this year is The Lincoln Woman’s Refuge.

The Ladies also recently welcomed the match team from Waltham Windmill to enjoy a friendly match, which in the true spirit of the game was halved.
